Quick ties

Any one ever use these "Quick ties" form http://discountramps.com,they are under the "Tie down" section.Just wondering if they are crap or not,I've got a Tacoma with the adjustable rail anchor points that I'm not sure if I feel safe enough with going from NY to Fl.Any input is appreciated:flag:

I worked for Toyota Service for 9 years....DO NOT TRUST THE TIE DOWNS FOR YOUR BIKE. Lawn mower etc.....are fine. I have replaced several that pulled loose..they are great for cargo but not a Big Dog...

Thanks Split,I heard they are good as long as they stay tight,I don't trust em,I've used them for the bike,but only around town.That's why I'm looking at these "Quick Tie" doohickeys,I'm concerned that if they are not bolted to something sterdy(frame,underplate?)that they may pull right through the bed sheetmetal.
