Quick question on starter

02 mastiff. Guy text me on where the spring goes on the endof the starter. I'll try to get a picture, but I've been drinking at the airport, prepairing myself for a plane ride.

The spring goes at the end of the starter.... Duh....

If i had it in front of me, it wouldn't be a problem. And I have the one piece shaft in mine, and it's been a long time since I have one apart.

the spring definitely goes into the coupler on the inner primary then install pinion shaft
