questions from new BDM rider

Hi ive just purchased a 2003 chopper. Im curious which parts are chrome and which are polished aluminum or how to tell. Some parts have light scratches and id like to polish them out. The rims appear to be polished alum but dont really need any work. The speedo bracket is hazy with light scratches and so are the trim pieces on the rear fender that hold the turn signals. Anyone got the rundown on chrome vs polished on these bikes? Thanks

Welcome from Washington State, hope you enjoy the site. You're scoot most likely has polished aluminum unless the scoot came with a chrome package. Head light, turn signals and rocker boxes could be chrome plated. There are several members on here with 03 models that can further specify...

I actually prefer polished aluminum... easy to polish and remove scratches. But the headlight engine and turn signals are definitely chrome. Some parts are polished aluminum like the speedo bracket and tree.
