On Friday, coming out of my office, a Waste Management dumpster truck stopped to let me go first. He caught me at a light, pulled alongside and gave me a thumbs up with a wide grin. I smiled. Little stuff like that makes my day. Glad I can make someone else smile in this world.

I hate being asked how much it costs too. I explain it like this: I could have bought a $17K harley, and then bolted another $10K in official HD shit on it. But it still would be less of a bike that the Big Dog, end up costing more and I would have voided the warrenty. So, i wrote one check instead of two.

I walked in to the real estate office my wife works at (part time) and heard her talking to this yuppie. I heard him say he owns 4 Harley's, so my wife says "My husband has a Big Dog." Yuppies responds "Yeah another Harley want to be." So I walk in the room and say "But not a biker want to be." The best part was when I pulled around the building my wife said the yuppies wife asked him "is that a Harley?" and he said "yeah, it came out last year."

Know whats kinda weird...On my Honda people would walk over and talk about the bike,the weather,where you going or something...Since I got the dog they stand and look or they look while I'm in the store and walk away when I come out...Gassing up the other day this guy pulled around the pumps, stopped and was hanging out the window of his truck lookin.....I looked up thinkin I was about to have the same conversation we all have had a thousand times but the guy seemed to panic and took off.....whats up with that?
Oh Yea ....you guys just think you get the Harley question.....Nobody that knows bikes should mistake the newer bikes for Harley's but mine looks like a custom softail.."What kinda Harley is that" ...Come to think of it I like it better when they don't say anything......Just stare and keep moving and close your mouth your stupid is fallin out!

I have to admit it. Went to a bar about 3 mos ago with my buddy who rides a harley. The hot MILF at the bar kept begging me for a ride and of course she had the mini skirt on. So finally I took her for a ride. Not going to believe this but she was pleasuring herself on the back of my bike and she would not let me go back until she was done. I was all excited and 2 blocks before we get back to the bar I ran a stop sign right in front of a cop. He pulled me over and called me up to his car. Funny thing is he did not even ask for my license he just told me to keep my girls hands out of her skirt and I told him I do not even know her. So he sent me back to my bike and called her over. They talked for a few and we she got back on the she told me he got her number.....I laughed my ass off so hard. Good thing is she saved me from a ticket

My two favorites are:

A cop pulled up next to me on the left side and rolled down his window. I thought, ohshit, what did I do now? Then he smiles and says, "I really like that bike. Wish it was mine". I replied, "sorry, you can't have this one, check eBay". He laughed and drove on.



A buddy and I pulled into a drug store to get something and these two old guys and their wives pull in. The old guys wait outside by the bikes looking at them. When we came out, they said, they just had to hear them start up. We talked a bit and the lit them up. It made their day.

I was told 7 times this weekend by HD riders that "someday" they will have a bike like mine I always say "my someday came".

What did it cost? My reply I can pay my note with the money I save on gas!

Ok, to actually contribute to this thread... the funniest was when this mom in the car with 7 or 8 year old kids is sitting there... she's actually a good looking woman but, she's got kids bouncing all around the car and, I'm thinking she's got a stick so far up her ass she can't move her head.

I see this camera phone move ever so slightly.... up above the door panel.... I can see it and... YES, she snaps a couple of shots incognito..... LOL.... I amost pissed myself.


did I ever tell you guys about the time somebody threw holy water on me? LOL ( true story )

Well I went and got my M/C licenses at the DMV a couple of weeks ago and the woman putting the info into the computer just couldnt understand that I was riding a BIG DOG. I kept getting so sir is that a Harley, Yamaha, or what brand is it. Finally after ten minuites of argueing she just put it in the computer. That was the best one.:cheers:

This is the one that I always get asked... talk about annoying. What kind is it? its a Big Dog Custom. Is it a Harley?? CMON!!! :bang:

Most of my buddies ride of course Harleys, and some dont give me a warm reception. Given most of the time Im with a buddy of mine that has a Martin Bros Texas Thumper... you can guess which bikes get all the attention.. I even had one say, well if you want somethin you will always have trouble with.. I was like WTF!! The next week later he was workin round the clock to get his bike ready for the ROT. It threw a rod!! LOL
