question on air cleaner

i have 2 banjo bolts that hold the air cleaner base to the heads. one of them is cracked and both keep coming loose and causing oil to leak all over side of motor. i have had a few guys tell me to just put solid bolts in it and delete the banjo bolts. i went to dealer looking for the bolt thats cracked and they said never seen them there some speacial bolt for the air cleaner assmbly. and good luck on finding a replacement :bang: :bang:

its the bolt with the ruber hose coming out of it next to the enricher valve

it has a crank case breather. i have notices nice nice amount of oil in air cleaner also that i would like to stop

Take a picture of just the bolt it may be the same as on an evo and I happen to be holding one in my hand. I'll let you know if its the same

Just go down to your local HD shop and pick up a pair for an early model Evo!

Make sure when you install them that you don't torque them down to hard or they will break again as they are hollow and thats where the motor breathes through. DON"T put solid bolts in there.

Oh, that is if you have an 02 like your sig says. You don't need the breathers shown in the picture!
