Why the manufacturer BIG DOG and BIG DOG EUROPE refuse to provide a certificate of conformity (coc) partial.
They do not want us to import this bikes and let us get approval in France by ourself.
They do not want to know the brand.

I'm pretty sure the largest majority of the forum members know for a fact that BIG DOG MOTORCYCLES IS A DEFUNCT COMPANY. A new company called BIG DOG PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS was started but has nothing to do with the old company except for the fact that its owned by the same people. THEY CANT HELP YOU WITH SOMETHING THE OLD COMPANY COULD LEGALLY DO LIKE REGISTRATION PAPERWORK. hope this helps.

They won't give you a COC because the european model has other specs than the USA-model. If you want an european approval you have to go the hardway, like all the other european BDM-riders have done, see all the threads in this forum......
