P Pitbull01 Member Jun 21, 2014 #1 I recently took off my starter and my primary cover so i could replace my starter. Im now getting ready to reassemble everything but im not sure how tight i need to torque the primary cover and the new stater down to.

P Pitbull01 Member Jun 21, 2014 #3 so the bolts on my starter are 1/4" allen screws so i would need to torque them down to 90-120 ft lbs... ty

KaptinAmerika Guru Jun 21, 2014 #4 Pay a little more attention to what your reading as we don't want you to get in trouble. The chart states "in-lbs" not "ft-lbs" for that fastener
