And ordered a K-9 to replace the one that was totalled in the end of July.

Got a 2008 K-9 coming from Gateway that only had 1,500 miles! and it has the EFI like I wanted (I know there are a lot of carb fans out there).

First things I did was order

a two up seat from Sterling
Dyna beads from Valuetek
Digital speedo form Valuetek
New luggage rack from WSW
Oil pressure setup from WSW

Hopefully everything will get here about the same time next week and it will be Big Dog -- Round two!

Only thing left is a new HID light -- anyone got a DUAL HID (hi/low) with a ballast that fits a motorcycle bucket yet? 6000K highly preferred.

RETIRED
I'm assuming it still has the ehc? When I changed my 07 Bulldog over to the wire plus I had a hell of a time getting it going until member BigDogBro1 got me on the right track. Anyway, Congratulations on the new ride, looking forward to some pictures:2thumbs:

Congrats....and ditch the HID headlight stuff. The electronics are too tempermental for that option. You might regret it. Buy a good standard wattage bulb and install a ceramic H4 bulb socket.

Having ridden with the HID, Navra 50 plus bulbs, silverstars etc, I'll take the HID every time.
I'll rewire the headlight out of the EHC system if need be or convert to the new system from WSW (won't use wireplus again if I can avoid it as I had several failures with them as well.)

I will be ordering a Braille battery next as a default upgrade/fix.

I hope yours is like mine in the way of reliability. I have litterally done nothing other than ride mine, minus fluid changes and such.

:2thumbs: Congratulations. When you take pictures, could you take one of the Fuel Injection. I have never seen one on a Dog and was curious what it looked like compared to a Carb. Both have their advantages. :whoop:

I recently purchased my first fuel injected motorcycle. My 2003 Chopper is a Carb and it could possibly be the last one I will ever own. Unless some ridiculous deal comes along I can't refuse.
