anybody runnin the gen 4? what's your feedback on this? i did a search and read but really didn't find any CLEAR results. i wanna buy one and know it's pricey. i know alot of you are running the xxx with good results but i like the psi if it isn't a p.o.s. i'm just sick of jetting changes everytime i change ANYTHING.
thanks for the help,tim

thanks sul. i'm hoping to hear alot more of this! any tuning issues?
nope. follow the instructions and it works fine. when i first got it i couldnt lean it out so they sent me a different needle as a swap. now i lean it so my mpg is 40. plugs look good and no ping. when the weather changes then i adjust.

Alhalla lent me a portable a/f tuner and i dialed it in.

didnt pay retail. Hoat and I swung some deals with a couple of suppliers. got them cheaper then that animated G. :D

I have the Big Air and in my opinion this the the best carb I have ever used. Easy to set up and tune the bike.

yep I echo what the boys have said - performs great and if you are fed up messing with jets then this is the carb for you. It is a serious piece of engineering.

Not hijacking this thread - but can you tell us about this partable a/f tuner - any links, possible $$$ involved if not too much I would like one (maybe a group buy :lol:)

its the LM-1. Its made by Innovate motorsports - I found it very difficult to get a sensible reading on mine - it jumps all over the place when viewing it real time on the screen and I was seeing readings from anywhere from 10:1 to 20:1 and I don't have all the software to record and hook up to a laptop. At some stage I will hook a camera up to view the speedo / tach and the LM readout together to watch it back.

Here you go, I ordered on of these puppies a couple of days ago.

LM-1: Digital Air/Fuel Ratio Meter

They have a new one (LM-2) which cost more. As you will see the LM-1 went from $349.00 to $279.00 plus shipping not bad.
