Protective film?

Anyone know who(what type of store) might carry the protective film that you could use under the passenger seat? I just stuck the B-pad on for a minute and it left circles that I had to wax out.

I always wipe my fender off and the suction cups with a micro fiber towel before putting it on and have not yet left a ring or scuff in the paint.

If it is perfectly clean, it wont scratch, oh... and don't lick the cups before putting it on!!

Just because they call it a lick-n-stick doesn't mean you do it. If those pads are wet, they will slide arond and scratch the paint. Put them on clean and dry.

Yeah I got the film on the bike. Mostly just on the rear fender now. Its ok. Here's my take... don't bother.

If you have the film (and you can see the edge) and you scuff it. You can still see the scuff.

if you don't have the film, you scuff it, you see the scuff.

Same end result.

Just like they said... keep the fender and suction cups clean and you'll be fine.
