Problem with clutch adjustment.

Went to adjust my clutch today. Got the bike in the air, the clutch cable backed off and the cover removed. For some reason I can't get the pushrod lock bolt to back off. When I put the wrench on it and turn it to the left there is some play, then when that stops and I keep pushing it pops like something is rolling over but the nut is still tight. What am I doing wrong? I tried loosening it while hold the pushrod with the Allen wrench as well and the result is the same.

And now I have the adjustment on the cable all dicked up. What's the procedure for adjusting that?

Well got it fixed. The cable came out of the bottom clutch end. Took it all apart, hit the pushrod lock nut with the air wrench and it came off. Took everything apart and cleaned it and greased it all up. Thanks for all the help! Haha
