PRO-ONE Billet Aluminum Oil Cooler

Thinking about getting one (maybe 2) of these PRO-ONE Billet Aluminum Oil Coolers for my B-D. Does anyone have any feedback on these compared to the B-D ones? These come with ether temp gauge or pressure gauge (reason for maybe 2, get one of each)

Quite spendy for a cooler. I don't think you can view the gauge while riding. The thing that concerns me is the cooling fins are restricted by the tube. Seems the cooling affect would be restricted...Just my thoughts...

I too have been juggling the idea of some oil coolers. I was actually trying to find single coolers to mount end to end or a set of really long ones. The Pro-One Chrome Oil Coolers look good closed up like that. But I too wonder about the limited cooling capacity. Anyone have coolers that they recommend?

Are you sure you need an oil cooler in Michigan? You might want to see what temperature your oil gets to first and compare that to what S&S recommends for an operating temperature.

I live in FL, lol. We wear shorts in January here! Im entertaining ideas for a longevity. Love the bike, hate having to keep nursing it until its last ride.

I live in a tropical climate our average summer temp is 35 Celseus.
I have never had a cooler on any of my HD's, i have friends that do/did.
Same bike same motor simular mileage, no difference at all worth worring about.
Rode through Death Valley in the middle of the day in 06, 12 of us, 3 had coolers.
6 deg Celseus difference between all the oil temps, 2 of those with coolers were higher than some of the guy's without......................go figure.
IMO waste of $

S&S recommends the oil temperature is between 180 and 250 degrees Fahrenheit and to use an oil cooler if needed to maintain this temperature. I live in Louisiana and my oil temperature stays in the low end of this band.
