Took the dog out for a ride today rode it for about 5 hours and on my way home i happened too look down and saw oil all over my license plate bracket. So i started pulled over and heard this awful grinding sound coming from the primary. I rode it home and when i got here i checked it out. Noticed that i was missing a bolt fro m the primary cover and my starter was just spinning like it wasnt catching the gear. I just had it worked on 3 weeks ago i had a starter rebuilt. So i guess i will take it to the dealer mondayand see if they are gonna warranty it. They dealer kept it for 3 weeks just for a damn starter and now the damn thing broke again. Im just hoping they will admit that they didnt tighten up the damn bolt.

took the dog back to the dealership and just what i thought he didnt want to warranty it. The damn bike hasnt had hardly any miles put on it since i got it back and they just worked on it 3 weeks ago. He came out and said that he couldnt honor it even though the the damn mechanic didnt tighten up the bolt and that caused the fluid to leak out . sO FOR XOTIC CYCLES in Amarillo TX. Igive you a two thumbs down:angry:

Thats why I fix my own shit!!! Warranty or not ,,unless the motor blows or "frame bottoms out" I'll keep you all informed on that ..latter next month at Myrtle I'm going to let them check out the frame and swingarm . I hate when I hear this kind of stuff ..this happened to a friend of mine with a Swift .Forgot to torque the clutch after fixing a leak. Had the bike for two months ...sorry I just don't trust most of the dealers. IF YOU WANT IT DONE RIGHT DO IT YOUR SELF! JMO

Dam bad mechanics

I had some similar bad situations when I had my Harley worked on.
Hope everything works out.
Just a recomendation for peps here is Dallas. Dont every use Parts Brothers in Lewisville. I had to have an attorney right up letters and had the Harley dealership fix most of their fuckups, and I fix the rest.

You might have to have an attorney get in touch with them. An attorney letter usually puts some thoughts in their mind about what they done.

Well good news i got my bike fixed. The owner called me and said he was coming after my bike he drove 120 miles and loaded it up himself and it only took one day to get it fixed. I dont know what happened, The only people i contacted was bdm and put in a complaint. the owner said he didnt want to lose a costumer and was truly sorry for what happened. Now that i got my bike back i will never take it back to that dealership. I guess it was a lesson learned. Im just glad to get it back in good working conditon.

The main thing is that he made it right.

Don't worry about bringing it back to him. He did the right thing.

When you have them by the balls their hearts and minds will follow.

Maybe your contacting BD helped, and they may be a little more responsible when you return.
