My buddy has a 04 ridgeback with a 4" open primary set up. Every now and then we can here this squalling noise when the clutch is let out then it stops. Any ideas what this migh be?? Thanks...C

I haven't had to do it in quite a while. Never have had to do it to my dog yet. Heres how I would do it.

Your clutch plates comprise two different types of plates. Friction dics and pressure plates. Take the plates and friction discs out and keep them in order. The friction discs will have material on them similar to a brake pad. The pressure plates will be smooth steel. Take the friction discs and get on a good sidewalk made of concrete. Rub the friction discs in a figure 8 motion until the material on them is roughed up. Put the discs and plates back in and adjust the clutch. This is the old school way to rough up plates and make em grab better and not slip against the pressure plates. There could be new technology that I am not aware of.
