Primary fluid

I know this topic has been talk over and over. After reading a lot of tread of this matter is my understanding that a lot of you think that synthetic fluid is not good in the primary because it would cause the clutch plate to slip. But some members are saying that nothing is better than synthetic in particular Amsoil. I went with amsoil on my primary (with not problem of any kind) and transmission at 500 miles and now also in my engine. Now I'm ready to change my primary fluid again on my primary and I'm not sure if I should switch to ATF or stay with amsoil. So my question is this, I would like to know how many members are using amsoil in the primary and if so how many had any kind of clutch slippery with it.

I know a lot of people use the Amsoil and feel it's the best stuff out there. I myself, In the field have seen more problems with motors and transmissions that are running Amsoil, than any other brand oil. I would run a regular Primary oil in your Primary and change it out every time you change your motor oil. It's only 1 quart, so not a huge expense at all. Don't run any ATF (automatic transmission fluid) or synthetics, it can cause your clutch to slip.

I have just changed to B&M trick shift over the winter but have not rode the bike since this was done. I was looking at my Amsoil catalog yesterday and noticed they produce a Synthetic ATF that is rated as Ford Type F which other's here have recommended. It is called Super Shift Racing Transmission Fluid for Automatics and claims reduced friction and reduced clutch plate wear. Part # ARTQT Cost 10.25 QT. Had I known this before I would have tried it, next fluid change I will give it a shot.

I've got a bottle of Klots Primary fluid that is synthetic. Claims to help prevent slippage. Seems like a good product but since everything works so well now, I'm afraid to use it. May have to swap it with some of the non synthetic with Beezer.
