primary fluid

I was just reading on the how to on ajusting primary and it said to add 16 oz. of fluid when done, and on servicing your bike it said to add a quart which is 32 oz. what gives 16 oz. or 32 oz. to 05 chopper Dt. primary.

I beleive 32 oz (quart) is correct. Thats what I've been doin and my manual said:up: (Primary)

My 02 manual says 32 OZ. I always buy a bottle of Revtech and pour it all in.

It's my understanding that it's 32oz or 1 qt for primary fluid. Are you sure you didn't misread something because the tranny takes 160z.

I think the Tranny takes 20oz........

Thats what I thought. Baker 6 speed= 20 oz.

When you go to page 4 on the how to.s on primary ajustment on the permalink
4 by Ray it says to after ajustment pour in your 16oz. and button it up. Thats why I was asking.
On 05 Chopper DT it takes 2.75 Quarts motor, 1 quart primary, and 20 oz. in the tranny.
