Hey everyone, Good morning...

I'm looking at a 2006 Ridgeback with 2800 miles on it in perfect condition.
It is black with some nice pin striping....It is in mint condition. The owner has taken very good care of it....he is having a very hard time selling it.
What would you all think a good price for it would be? Also any thing I need to be aware of as far as things to be recalled or fixed? Would it be worth selling my 08 HD road glide to buy this bike?....I really like the ridgeback stlye the BEST of all Big dogs....fit's my 6-5 body like a glove.....just worried about the hardtail...as before...

Thanks all,
RED

re

Get it...make sure all the recalls have been taken care of. Make sure it has no valveguid issues. I have an RB 05 and love it.

TO come up with a price, go on craigslist and ebay and price them. There are a lot of low price nice bikes out there right now, probably why he is having trouble selling it.

Red, I always recommend getting an ignition printout for the bike. This will tell you how it was ridden and treated. I will show how many rev hits it's had and by viewing the rpm breakdown you can see if it has been treated roughly.

Thanks for the advice and information.....will do...The service center told me about the project number on the frame. They will plug that i9nto the Bigdog system and see all the info ablut the bike....that is so cool...I'll let you all know what happens....the guys at the shop told me ask like 16,500.00 See what happens...RED

Ray, in your printout, what is the deal with 2400 RPM's? Isn't that statistically impossible? Glitch?

One of the BDM members here posted in a thread that you have to be in one of these ranges for several seconds before it will record. So guess I don't spend as much time at this range compared to the ones before or after. Maybe it's a shift point!

This one is several years old so having the factory print me out a new one before my bike comes home. My dealer up here can't do it.
