Mark whom some of ya'll met at BB&B. His dad was waiting assignment and was on Base when it was attacked, as well as my Uncle Who taught hand to hand combat was on base. Uncle Ross would tell us how he help round up troops and help the wounded to the hospital. He said, " there was no use hiding or taking shelter bombs and bullets were dropping everywhere."

:patriot::patriot: my grandfather was a pilot at Hickam field, flew a P-51. He carried a 1934 silver dollar he got as change from coffee that morning in his pocket for all of WW2, Korea, Nam and when he passed in 2001 he left it to me. Sits in my gun safe, and my wife is ok with me being more careful with it than I am my wedding ring.

Took the time to tour the Pearl Harbor Memorial and short ride out to pay respects over the USS Arizona back in 96’. Definitely the greatest generation and we are losing them rapidly.

That's just it let's not forget our Grandpa's, Uncle's, Aunties, civilians etc. It was said that the bright side to it all, Is that it was on a sunday and most enlisted men and women where off base!
I spent my life in the mountain's in Hawaii and there are a few planes still scattered around the Islands. I had Many family member's that lived through it all and the Horror stories. But most of all it started the spam revolution:spam: The ARIZONA Memorial will humble the hardest of heart's!

Went to the Arizona 10 years ago to pay my respects. Couldn't help but loose some tears, like 9/11. My friend went last year and called me from the memorial. He knew how I felt about Dec 7 and said they had a flag there that they flew over the Arizona on Memorial Day 2016. I bought it and display it with the COA. NEVER FORGET!!!

I used to live on ford island and have dove on the Arizona and Uss Utah several times. I am humbled
