i did not join to put anyone down, i joined in for opinions on the reliability of the 05 chopper because i have a chance to buy one at a good price.

I bought my '05 Chopper, rode it for 4 years and had NO trouble with it at all - other than polishing billet aluminum:bang:, which comes with the territory. It was BDM's first year for right side drive, and it had the same engine they still use today, the 117" S&S. Bottom line, I loved that bike.

I traded it and our two Screamin' Eagle Harleys in this Spring, after my wife, best friend and riding partner died from cancer last year. I got the new K9 to start a new chapter with my new life. Otherwise, I'd still have my '05 Chopper...best paint job ever, IMO!

I for 1 have Damn sure had my share of problems with my 05 Ridgeback and I know I will have them in the future, But..The bike has a 9-2 Record so far when it comes to a Female wanting to go for a ride on it...And the 2 that I didnt get any from were daughters of the women in the 9 that rode the bike and returned the Favor....Like they say...Nothing that good comes for Free!!!
