Really good to hear. I have a wife that "survived a fatal motorcycle accident", according to the neurologist that cared for her. The PT was all she needed, including her vision. She refused eye surgery and chose a two year vision and brain workout that had her driving in 14 months and back on her bike in 20. The healing will not stop if he won't.

So sorry to hear about your brother, thank God he had his helmet and riding gear on. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers. He will probably need a little time but I am sure he will ride again.

Sorry for not posting up and update sooner but thank to Kathy for doing such. It has been a very tiring and stressed few months for the family and what not.
My brother is still recovery but is doing amazingly well. Once he got off the life support, he quickly sprung around and went in to full recovery. Still working on it, mainly on walking due to bust pelvis and ribs. Still he is up and walking slow, but sure footed with his cane per say.
Other than that, brain is still is same ole warped self which we love, he so far has been good on his cardio checks, but the keep checking quite routinely, mainly due to he had flat lined twice (for 15 min at the crash site with CPR being done) and than once in ICU when they did surgery on his lungs and they had to give CPR on him for over 30 min. The great hospital staff kept at it due to were getting great response on the machines when the we doing as well as good O2 into him, so they stuck with and he came back. So to say the least they routinely check his heart for the are just amazed no damage there, but all good.
He has not got back on a motorcycle yet, he does talk about it as he sees his other MC sitting outside collecting dust (It is a MD bagger). He still pissed that he new Triumph got totally for he did love riding that.
Overall though he is doing very well, back to work, bills taken care and loving time with his family and grandkids and teaching sailors in high tech fire control stuff.
Oh also back to playing his guitar and back up to speed on such (he is very good) and breaking a new Gibson SG that he had ordered they day before the accident. In some way the accident saved him from worse by the wife who was not too happy he bought a new guitar, but since he was out for so long, she wasn't able too and pretty much gave him the eye later. Any folks that play guitar can understand, seems you can never convince the loved ones that there is no such thing as too many guitars, even if one is avoiding tripping over many to grab the same ole 90% of time.
For me, busy doing project not too far from home, do not get as much down time to ride or other things I would like but starting to see light on the project and the finish line, so hopefully will be out on new adventures soon (or at least until another project starts).
Still have my Mastiff and though it has been a few months since she was rode, still going strong with no issue. Some wear and tear and would not hurt for some cosmetic work, still very happy with it.
Hope all are well on here and once again apologize for not getting on here sooner and doing an update. Thank for all for the prayers and wishes for my brother.
Everyone take care and be safe out there.
