I just heard that a friend of mine passed away riding his Harley Friday afternoon. His wife said from what they are telling her that someone ran into him and got hit by another car. My prayers go out to Jim Custin and his family and that they will be able to make it through this hard time. And to all of you ... ride safe. :( :flag:

I will pass these messages to his family ... funeral should be sometime this week ... Everytime I get on my bike I will think of him ... he's my first riding buddy that I met when I had 200 miles on my dog. Put several thousand miles since then with him. Thank you all for the prayers and kind words. :up: :flag:

thoughts and prayers to the family. what we do is dangerous and no matter how careful you are, these things happen--i think we all hope that if it happens to "me" that our friends and family understand. chuck
