Hey guys just wonder if this ever happened to any of you. Took the bike out for a ride today running along about 50 mph lost everything engine quits just like you turned the key off speedo hangs on 50 mph no lights nothing. So i got stoped and off of the road.Knew it had to be something electrical.Got off pulled the seat and the power connector that plugs into the EHC had puled out.Thought no big deal the 2 little screws that hold it in just loosend up and let it come unpluged. So i pluged it back in fired right up everything working fine I'll fix it when i get home. Had to stop about six times in about 4 miles and do this.Got home and the screws did'nt come loose they broke off in the EHC now I think I can take plug apart and put new screws in it but the fun part is getting pieces out of the EHC.They are tiny was thinking about a small lefthand drill bit to see if i could back them out.Any suggestions dont want to buy another EHC and power harness.

The plug mount to the EHC is pretty crappy (just like the EHC!). I remounted mine in with Velcro and used a zip tie to keep the plug in place. While you're at it, don't forget to load up the plug interface with di-electric grease per the Service Bulletin.

Eric, I though it was you reposting in another thread!!!

Zip tie those things and don't worry about those little screws but if warranty fixed it so much the better but zip tie it when you get it home. Thats how some of us get so many miles on our bikes.:D
