thanks for the comments gents - now I need to get rid of the fire on the tins. That will just have to wait.

you got a good eye Gas - I just couldn't be arsed to put the little bits back on last night when it was getting late. I do have them all though. I'm struggling to get the headlight trim ring back on though I must admit - I hate that thing. I need to speak to jake.

Lee... if there is one thing I'm known for by the michigan boys is my attention to small details. I will always notice the small stuff and when at a bike show its that stuff that bugs me.

Did you powder out the rear axle covers or the belt gaurd?

You coulda' powdercoated the tins too. That's what I did on my chopper, frame, fenders, tank, the whole works. NO PAINT.

I love it and the easy upkeep and durability.

no Gas I left them as they are - again for some contrast and I think the polished belt cover will go better as I left the pulley polished

good idea shovel - I never even thought of powder coating the tins
