I think we need a picture of the year. All 12 winners for that year are up at the end of each year and we vote again for the best pic for that year and the winner gets a badge

Calendars are not the bigger sellers people think they are. Usually outside of those featured in a calendar, not many others buy them.

I like both of the ideas... the badge and the calendar. You can buy a calendar... plus there is a little incentive to submit pictures of your Big Dog. This might motive people to submit more pictures.
