I just wanta ride
Well this thread went to shit quick! So much for letting the guy read the comments! Thanks Mile High for one of the few useful replies here! :2thumbs:
I thinks the thread was funny and lighten up. If he wants a smooth ride than he doesn't want a bike. He just needs to test ride a few different models and go from there. :D

I need to clear up this whole vagina issue before it gets completely out of hand! I should have said, "He needs to leave his "mangina" at home the next time he rides!" I am truly sorry to any vagina I may have offended because it is from you that I came and to you that I strive to return!

Speaking for the vagina community as a whole once again...we will except your apology. Thank you!

Not trying to jack up the thread but there are so many threads out there on this subject and it all comes down to motorcycles vibrate, some more than others.

TRUE COLORS COLLISION
No rubber mounted motor......definately vibrates...maybe not his cup of tea.......maybe he can find a dealer that will let him test ride a coupla different models just so he can sense himself........

I'm 6'5", 230 and ride an 06 Mastiff. Vibration isn't that noticeable while riding. The top part of the stock seat hits me half way up my ass and it goes numb after about 50 or 60 miles. Its tough its just the way my hips sit because I have long legs. I just had a custom passenger seat made and she loved it. No problems for her at all. Also, we didn't put any gel in hers either. I will most likely have to redo mine with gel and trim the top part of that seat. This guy will trim it and put gel in for $150. Not a bad fix for the added comfort. Numb ass sucks. Otherwise its a great ride.

My butt gets numb after about the 60 or 70 miles too. I had a guy here in Nashville repad and recover my single seat for I think it was 70 Bucks. The butt and anything attached to the butt gets numb still but much better than before. Also do your best to stay on the smoothest roads you can find, avoid pot holes like the plague. Not only will it get your full attention , but they will jar your teeth out to a point of that really hurts. a few railroad tracks, and wagon trail roads, well it is a learning experience.

It's all about finding the sweet spot. I can cruise all day long at 2500-3000 rpm very little vibration. Yes there is vibration throughout the gears but always come back to the sweet spot. When we take long rides 3-6 hrs our azzes may be sore from sitting not necessarily from vibrations. I do have to throw in the fact that my bike is getting smoother with age..

I can go 300+ miles on my 04' chopper, it's a softail obviously, but it's also got a nice gel pad installed in a custom seat..., vibration has never been a factor - no numb fingers.., so, go with a chopper - in fact, buy mine - look it up on the swap meet section, I'm selling it for 14.5K. Here's a pict of it, good luck man!

I have made several 400 to 500 mile trips on mine and vibration has never been a problem. The seat is a differnet story though :D.
