Posting Bike Issues with Project Numbers

If members would list their project numbers on their postings, (especially where failures are concerned) folks at the factory who may monitor this site will be able to pull up the build history of that particular bike and respond with an informed answer focused on that bike.

It's one thing for an annomous customer to speak of problems, but when project numbers are involved, they notice.

I know if I worked at the Puppy Farm and read about issues, I wish that I could relate the problem to the actual motorcycle. This will take many variables out of the issue.

Project # is on the left side of the neck (opposite the serial #)

Odds are someone on this site can help, but the more information a question has, the better we can (the forum members first) help answer the question.

Just a suggestion...:2thumbs:

See Ya!

a slightly side issue but can't you also email this number to BDM to find some things out? I wouldn't mind doing that - Sul has a point on the warranty thing but I'm sure there are a fair few of us who don't have warranties - personal choice whether or not you want to do this I suppose

Here's my concern...

The R&D section of the factory would like to see the project numbers to help track problems. GREAT!

But then the next day the warrenty division would void the persons whole warrenty for that woods 640 cam.
