Possible Purchase 2004 Big Dog Chopper

As I mentioned in another thread, a buddy of mine is looking for a chopper....I found this 2004 Chopper on CL and communicated with the owner tonight so the listing is legit....Looks pretty clean....Owner will send me the VIN tomorrow so I can run it for recalls / service bulletins, etc.....all thoughts / opinions appreciated - have at it ...

Looks pretty clean Dingo. It looks like a RT frame so when you run the vin check to see if it had the frame mod done on it. This effected 03 and some early 04 RT frames.

Update...Took a ride up yesterday to check out the bike......very clean....clearly well maintained.....just needed a new back tire...

After a little back and forth, the seller said he would put a new rear tire on and my buddy is the proud owner at the asking price 13K.....a very nice deal and to say my buddy is ecstatic would be an understatement......now just have to get him to sign up here at BDB !
