Since the S&S VFI just jumped in price and we have been warned about possible lack of availability I thought I'd let everyone know about this project.

A DIY EFI controller. Looks like some real potential -- already been used for a few bikes and will do 2 to 8 cylinders!

I'm going to be keeping my eye on this as time goes on. I'll already had things happen that have made me question the VFI (still working though) but being able to really tweak it and get some information from it easily that I could integrate into other plans would be excellent.

I was reading on an automotive tech board where someone had a similar idea. To make a long story short, the arduino is not a particularly well suited platform for EFI management.
