Very well said! :lol:It may be slower than a Honda now, but it has 10 times more class. It has more class than that honda if it didn't run at all, Actually, that Big Dog has more class with you pushing it!!! :2thumbs:
Amen!!First, Intro.
Second, break the thing in.
Third Pipes, jets and K&N.
Fourth, twist Grin and Go!!!!!

2006 Honda VTX™1800F Sport Cruiser (VTX1800F) Motorcycles - Power, MPGs and HandlingI had my VTX1800F dyno tuned at 800 miles. It came out at 100 hp @ 4200 rpm and 120 lbf @ 3200 rpm. I got about 28-31 mpg for about 12-14000 miles.
maybe the LBs/HP ratio is a bit high?![]()
You mean fat ass, tub of lard, weight challenged, jelly belly, fat fuck?  :roll:maybe you misunderstood my above statement that my independent conclusion to his perception of minimal mechanical movement from his newly acquired two wheeled vehicle is there is a substantial possiblitlity that he may be a fat bastard.

I dont know about that one you may want to run that by Ray....It may be slower than a Honda now, but it has 10 times more class. It has more class than that honda if it didn't run at all, Actually, that Big Dog has more class with you pushing it!!! :2thumbs:
I agree, I got side wayz last night with just a twist of the throttle!!!:2thumbs:You should be able to stomp the ever livin' shit outta that VTX! My chopper kicks azz. (However, I weigh in at nothing minus nothing.) Minimal mods, had to put washers in it to get some back pressure. I'd definately make sure your clutch isn't slipping. Mine needed to be adjusted after my first 1000 miles cause it was slipping badly and slowing me waaaaayyy down. You'd be able to hear it if it is...makes a great noise..but no go!
Mmmmhmmm. My Kawasaki ninja was like a formula 1 and my chopper like a farm tractor. Different kinds of powers all together. The GSXR was like riding a formula 1 car, my K9, a top fuel dragster.

Put a 250 or 300 on a VTX, it would look good if you could get it past that drive shaft but I dont think it would turn it like a 117!!!!!! Nope.......It may not be as fast as some of the bikes you have owned in the past but I can gaurantee one thing my friend, you will get alot more BOOTY from owning the Dog over a rice burner. You are in a different class now, the torque, half the rev's to make power, fat tire, and the bling. Wait and see!!

Yea,no shitIt ought to have more power than that VTX with potatoes in the pipes.
