....like I did a couple weeks ago!
:zzdisappointed:
:nono: (see separate post on that fiasco!)
:iagree: It's a much easier job if you keep up on it.I polish my bike about every 4 rides and it doesnt take very long, if you keep it clean it goes pretty quick, a little bit of time spent hear and there is better than spending an entire day doing it, plus it looks better all the time.
Fuck that!!!!!!you pussy's, didn't you read the fine print, it says four hours of cleaning for
every one hour of riding.

I have the Zoop Seal kit on the bench already, but I need to get it all shined up before I put it on.You guys need to put zoop seal on your aluminum. It was a bitch to apply, but the black polishing cloth is now a thing of the past for me.

when you have it all polished as good as you can (use zoop polish as your final polish), You then put the zoopseal on, IT'S critical to follow directions in this stage as well as the next stage.I have the Zoop Seal kit on the bench already, but I need to get it all shined up before I put it on.
That's my plan for a winter project. I'm looking into dremel tools, felt bobs, etc. to really get 'er polished up first, then apply the Zoopseal. I'm tired of the black residue mess from polishing aluminum. Thanks for the tip.You guys need to put zoop seal on your aluminum. I have yet to zoopseal my engine, but it will get done in the next couple of weeks.QUOTE]
Keep us posted on how that goes.
The engine, triple trees and front fender brackets are the only aluminum on my Anniversary K9. The engine's what I really made a mess of with the "wrong stuff" recently(see separate thread "Don't do what I did":bang
. Anyway, it's all squared away now. I plan to ZoopSeal my engine this winter after another good re-polish. Thanks!

Ha ha..... same herefor every hour your polishing, that is an hour your not riding......as my bike will prove!!!!!!! lol lol
Do you mean the Victory Chrome, Paint & Windhield Polish, or the Victory All-Metal Polish? I'm a little "gun-shy" about trying new products on my bike (see separate post in Detailing Section re: "Don't Do What I Did":bangwhen you have it all polished as good as you can (use zoop polish as your final polish), You then put the zoopseal on, IT'S critical to follow directions in this stage as well as the next stage.
The zoopseal will take a long time to dry. In my case, after I applied it, I was done for the evening. Once it's dry and you can't smear it, it's not shiney yet, you follow up the next day on the next step to polish the zoopseal and that's when the briliance comes back.

I have found that the Victory polish (see this link VICTORY WINDSHIELD,PAINT & CHROME POLISH w/ cloths:eBay Motors (item 350031220016 end time Jul-22-09 16:31:39 PDT) )
is the best I have used. It actually makes the aluminum as smooth as chrome looks. And it's easy to put on.
All this worked and continues to work for me, with some luck, it should work like this for everyone.

Thanks - thought so, but wanted to be sure. If you'd gone through what I've been through the past two weeks polishing out my "screw-up"Victory Chrome, Paint & Windhield Polish, exactly what I put the link to.
I have to buy it off the internet since it never is in stock at the Victory dealer.
