Please help

Hi Guys,

please Help. I have a Big Dog Bulldog Bike from 2007. I have install a new Batt.

When I switch to Ignition, flashes the right arrow (right turn signal) and not more, sometimes start the Bike, sometimes nothing, or the motorcycle goes out are the ride and it does nothing more. I have check the ground to the Frame, all connector, Battery connector, all, the kompression valve klicks by start, but I have no power to the green cable to the Starter ?

I have replace the Batt. and Charge the Batt. Sometimes I can Start the Bike 20 times, sometimes nothing ??? I have check the connector, Cables, all.

The module (Gold color right side) sometimes blue, sometime flash yellow I dont know.

Whats the problem ? Please help ?

Check to make sure all the CRIMPED wires going to the battery all have real tight crimps at the connectors...these would be the smaller wires, both the RED and BLACK on the battery terminals. Place the larger wire connections towards the battery side in the stack up.

I had loose crimps and the bike (EHC) acted very erratic.

SEARCH the forum for other possibilities.

Also check the connections at the EHC. Disconnect the battery and remove the right side cover. remove the two multi pin connectors from the EHC and unbolt it from the base plate. Clean the EHC pins with a soft brush( DO NOT USE A WIRE BRUSH) just make sure there nice and clean and no discoloration in there. Also check the connector and brush it out to . Then use some good dielectrict grease in the connectors and reinstall the EHC then the multi pin cables and battery and test your system. I had almost the same problem and this fixed all the problems I had. Sometimes the 4 way flashers would come on when I turned the key on. Then nothing,then starts right up then, power but no start or start but no lights. Anyway try this if you haven't had any luck with other cures. Please let me know if this helps.:flag::flag:

Thanks Guys for your help. It was the Ground cable to the Battery.

I have Buy a New Ground cable here American Motors USA

It Works, it was the Clamp from the Old one.

Don't forget to do the EFI RESET proceedure described on the label under the seat.

Sorry there Ghostrider. There are NO buttons on the S&S EFI ECM unit. Read the label on the frame just in front of the rear fender under the seat.

After disconnecting and reconnecting your battery on EFI's only. You must turn your key on, push run, you will hear the fuel pump cycle, then wait for your engine light to go off. Turn your key off, wait 15 seconds. She will be ready.
