Please help- Running like stir fried crap starting at 2500 rpm's

2004 bulldog-Popping, backfiring and sneezing at around 2500 RPM's (idle is great) can it be caused by using: NGKr BPR5ES plugs? The NGK website said that the correct plugs org bike are (NGKr BPR5ES-11). Does the "-11" make a difference? Meaning did the counter guy give me the wrong plugs? Anyone know?

I ordered the "NGK BPR5EIX-11" plugs and will pick them up on Tuesday from Advance auto parts - think they will fix my problem?

If you still have them try putting the old ones back in and see what you have.

The plugs should be ok. Did it run like this before the plugs?

No it had some issues with popping (I think it was lean) but now it is much worse.

Forgot to mention. Plugs are black

Check the small stuff first like if the wires are seated all the way,plug gap,and that you have good spark.
