Went to fire up the 05 Ridgeback which is always on battery tender and currently measures 12.5 VDC

Turns over but makes awful close clicking almost grinding sound and will not turn over.
Even though my battery reads 12.5 might not have enough CCA to turn over ??

Battery is 2yrs old

Thx all for input

There are posts on here with the Harley part number for the best one. You need a minimum 330 cranking amps.good luck.

Delivery Drones would not be able to deliver a battery, that's an accident waiting to fall outta the sky. These things are going to cause nightmares for people.
And we will never have watches that deliver texts, phone calls, etc on our wrists! What about Lithium Batteries which are lighter? So, how do military drones carry all their weapons, cameras, etc. Cars that drive themselves is just crazy too! Just wanted to say "Never say Never":)

I think that's why we haven't seen them yet along with battery costs for a long flight. I think the liability on the drones if one happened to die and fall out of the sky with or without a package for delivery is a major concern. Imagine one drops out of the sky on the highway and causes an accident, or lands on your damn head while your sunbathing in your yard wearing your speedo.

I think we are quite a bit far off from drone delivery, I'd be surprised if we see it within the next 10 years. It's one of those ideas that's way ahead of its time.

Replaced the battery and I'm off to the races...........Thx all. The guy at Cycle Gear tried to sell me a lithium battery for $339 w 540 CCA and holy shit it weighed about a 1lb......what a difference............I went with the std battery and it works fine,
Yes I still have the BIG DOG EHC and need to upgrade but mine is still working fine.

Thx all!

Watching the news this morning, I believe it was over in England a passenger jet hit one, not good. Just imagine 10,000 of them flying over a city delivering things, can you spell Disaster:willynilly:

Then people will shoot them out of the sky to claim their Amazon prize
