Plate light going out

2 of the 4 leds that light up the license plate are flickering. It's not a short in the wire since the other 2 lights stay solid. Looks like I'll need to replace the board. Anyone else had this happen?

But as I told Al... ask the parts guy or maybe he can tell you when he gets his new one in... if the wire don't come with the connector already off the pins. YOu may want to tell whom ever you order thru, to include a new one. You'll probably break off the old one trying to remove it to slide it thru the tube on the bottom side of the frame (if your ridge is the same as the chops) little tube. The dealerships should have spares.

Mine did the same. Had the plate tuned Verticle but had not seen the post on putting a sealer at the top of the wire. Pulled the light out the two lower leds were dead and their was some crude in their. The new one cast me about $35- $40 with shipping. It came with the new plug not attached to the pins so installation was easy.:2thumbs:

did mine with slowrower. Plug was attached on mine so i had to file the cener out a bit to get the wire and plub through. Looked like a disco room at night. easy enough fix.
