I wondered if the ridgeback was more comfortable to ride than a pitbull. It seems like a lot more people have the rb than the pit. Mayb just because it's more of a chopper but as far as a rigid goes is one more comfortable to ride than the other? Thanks

Was shocked that the ride on these ridged frames was as good as it is . Ive rode a ironhorse ridged and swore never again until i got on a BDM . Having said all that, if the ride is at the top of your list ridged is probably not your bike . :choppersmiley::choppersmiley::choppersmiley:

Never rode anything but the ridgeback in these scooters. Agrees with Brad, Good road , good ride ,,, rough road , holes will shack your teeth out. You learn to watch for holes even on the better roads. But I will say this, a couple hundred miles you can feel the good roads even more. Like mine knumbs everything on or close to the seat out. Thinking about getting the gel pack put in my seat. I still really enjoy riding it. Being tall is a good thing for the ridgeback too! It fits great!

My ridgeback bye far rides better than my pit did. Longer with bigger tire I believe smooths the bumps out better. The shorter wheelbase and more forward seating position of the pit lends itself to a harder ride all around. jmho

Someone's gotta step up for the Pitts so here I go! :) Not ridden a RB myself, but the under seat shocks in my Pit do provide some degree of comfort. Especially if you hang your ass back and get the full fulcrum effect. Cheers.

I have ridden both and they are almost identicle. I had been looking at the Pitbull for a long time but in the end went with the Ridgeback. I was riding my Kawasaki Meanstreak next to an Iron Horse Texas Chopper and a Pitbull and the Iron Horse definitely stood out a lot more as a chopper, but I loved the looks of the 05 Ridgeback and was fortunate enough to find one. It is incredibly comfortable. I have a 2 inch push seat and have ridden for hours with no copmlaints other than my right hand going completely numb, which is why I now have a cruisemate. Just watch the big bumps. I hit one once and I could swear my ass came 2 feet off the seat.
