Pitbull is almost ready

So I had some issues getting it to fire! Carb was not getting gas to the motor! Rebuilt the carb and it fired up but won't fire easy. Eventually the starter won't crank and is sluggish . I am going to pull the starter an make sure it's making good contact . I have been trying to get ahold of bigdogpartsking for a rear wiring harness with no luck.

Hopefully my last update on the thread. Bike is all back together and cranking up nicely..
Received the rear wiring harness from BIGDOGPARTSKING last Saturday, Thanks Derrick for getting that out quick...
Almost time to get it back on the road, actually taking it in to a shop to get an alignment on the rear belt is rubbing and can't quite get it dialed in, also need to check the tires for dry rot the bike sat too long without being moved, hope they don't need replaced the rear is a brand new dunlop elite and I was hoping to get some miles out of it...

Oh that looks sweet that belt drive will grow on you. You wont regret it... :D :2thumbs:

First short ride today, still getting it adjusted.
Carb is coughing pretty bad and the clutch needs adjusted.
Tore another set of jeans on the primary been awhile since I have rode the pitbull forgot about the treadmill on the side.

Took the bike out for another ride this one was a little longer and I got on it a little more. Still breaking in the motor so trying not to rod on it too much. I have oil coming from the top of the heads and hoping that I just overfilled the oil pan. I am going to drain a little oil from the pan to see if that is the problem.

Sounds like you working out the kinks, Nice. Hopefully the oil issue is an easy fix. Guess you better stock up on new pants,.
