Pipes on EFI

Hey Ya'll,
Still getting used to all the EFI lingo and do's and don'ts. Im breaking in my Mastiff and only had it a few days. Just turned over 140 miles, and the stock pipes are KILLIN me!! I cant stand how quiet they are. Not to mention the heat shield not workin worth a crap. Ive already burned through two pairs of pants, and I ride this thing back and forth to work. When I ride in uniform, (hasnt happened yet) but I sure dont wanna think about my pipes burning through my polyester uniform pants.
My question I wanna ask is it okay to go ahead and switch out the pipes without having the whole remapping done?? Pipes are expensive on their own, and here in the Metroplex the labor is outrageous!!! $800 bucks for installation and remapping for the EFI. Think you can help me out on this fellas??

Thnx,
Justice

You can do the V/H Big Radius or the Mean Mothers they have o2 bungs in them and the bike will remap itself. Or if you want to get brave buy something you really like have a hole drilled and a nut welded and now your a little more custom

Of coarse you can do like House said and have a bung welded on any pipes... like this...
