good luck on the air cleaner they dont make many for it and the adjustability for fuel ta air sucks!! you might have to re-map your bike take it to the dealer and put it on a dyno with the parts you want and have the tune it!! good luck

I have the S&S dual with the V&H big radius the dealer did my exhaust when it was new so they put in the proper jet.I added the air intake it took some minor tuning on the carb all is good.I now have a Paul Yaffe pipe and havent been able to ride since install but it will prob. need the same thing.Good luck!!!:hi:

Hey, new to the fourm, and also to a efi bike. Will the stock efi adjust to a pipe and air cleaner swap? Thanks for the help
Jonnied,
There are some threads in the EFI section that answer this in more detail.
In a nutshell, the EFI should compensate 20% from the base map. You have no way of writing the change tables to be the base map but BDM can if they wish too if you have it at one of there shops. If you go outside that 20% with your changes the check engine light will come on. There is some threads in the EFI section to explain how to check your codes yourself if you are a little computer savvy and if BDM has not changed the program parameters where it cannot be done anymore or the type of port on the ECM.
You can take it to the dealer and they can hook up to it and tell you the alarm codes that are tripped.

hey guys thanks for the info. I call BDM they told me that I will not have any problem with a pipe and air cleaner, just put the stuff on and ride the bike and the computer would learn and should be go to go. So with that all said I 'll check the plugs and then go ride it, that is when the 16to 20" of snow melts.

With times being tight I would of asked them if it would void the warranty if you put pipes and a air cleaner on it....
