Pingel question

I recently added the pingel fuel filter. I located it 4 inches from the petcock so it is pretty much running parallel to the front head cover. I notice that when I sit at stop sign even for 10-15 seconds the bike hesitates and wants to shut off on take offs, but finally gets moving and then its fine. I am thinking I need to relocate the filter so the gas can flow better and if so where, also what is the best route to run the fuel line. Thanks in advance.

Most on here have had issues with fuel filters suppling enough fuel. :D

Clean the carb bowl now and then, you really don't need a fuel filter. Maybe clean out tank once a year if needed. I have never ran a filter and never a problem.

I bought a pingel, and noticed a cutting out. Then noticed fuel was being slightly sucked uphill! make sure it is pointing down slightly and you will have no probs.

Carb system is gravity feed. Moving the filter to a lower point will increase the static head on the filter media. Having said that, I removed mine. I felt it negatively affected reserve mileage.
