Naw,Hmmmm I'm just looking at the skid mark on the ground. Did that happen when you loaded the bike up?
My 10 year old wanted me to smoke the rear tire so I lit it up for him....
The little vid use to be my wall paper on my phone.... I would open the phone up and it would play....
I will make one loading the bike in the truck. The GMC is a 4x4 and sits higher than the Dodge did.
The ramps come in a few lengths. This one happens to be a 8' and they make a 9 and 10 ' now. I gave someone $200 bucks for a while back.
The last time I loaded it up I was with Night Train...aka Mike in Wichita. Pulled it up on the truck in front of his house....on the street in the Dodge truck...

That is the max load for the outer rail or ramp. There is 3 pieces to each side and the ramp is rated for 1500#. The center ramp is different that the 2 outside ramps on each side. You could use just the outer ramp by itself and it would be rated at 600# then...:2thumbs:

Who has experience putting a K-9 in the bed of a Dodge 4X4 2500 6.5 foot bed truck? How much of a PITA is this? Is it even worth while for those rare cases? If it will work, then I can forget my plan to purchase an emergency trailer and just buy at least a 10 foot ramp. Obviously, the rear wheel will seat on the tailgate and it better be in good shape (i.e. check the cables).

I've got similar ramps,It's not as hard as you would think,I load mine on myself,after the front wheel clears I just put my feet down and the bike don't scrape as long as you don't fly up the ramp it's pretty easy,getting down is pretty easy also,once the bike starts to back down just lay on the front break and it slides right down………Than you drink---alot!!

Lars is correct on it being easy to back off. Just roll it back and use the front brake. The ramp gives excellent traction and you have plenty room for your feet.....

I have those same ramps, bought them when I had my FXST. Awesome ramps and super easy on and off. Now with the K-9 I have to load my bike on an incline that reduces the angle of the ramps. I can still use them but the angle makes it tricky on a long bike.

You are so right on that point KnotSo.....A tip for ramps is to drive the front of the truck up on some car ramps, makes the incline less severe.
That is what the uphill dirt driveway in the yard is for behind the truck on the left.. I can just push it in when I back up there..
Instead of the truck on the incline I have the ramp on the incline which does the same effect..

I'm close to selling my standard cab long bed for a 4 dr since I end up getting a trailer from uhaul. Just enjoy no truck payments for the last year.
