The PDM was BDMs last attempt to eliminate the EHC. There was some issues with the first production units, but I think they weeded those issues out eventually. We've now passed that point and have better units out there like the RIP and the ESC units...

There might be some folks on here that still have it installed...

I still have the PDM.....knock on wood its worked great for me. 15,000 miles on the PDM with no problems. 30,000 miles all together, my dog has been a good bike.

Thanks Brew. Im a little smarter now. I appreciate you explaining that to us. Im still going to rewire my bike. About half way there already.

I put a PDM in my 05 it runs good no issues

I think it was 2010 when the PDM came out. The main drawback to the PDM was the non canceling turn signals. If you see a K9 running around with its turn signal on.......it's probably me
