PDM Issue

Hey Fellas, I'm looking for any suggestions on a sick Dog I've got. 2005 Ridgeback with a PDM left me sitting at Fontana Dam last week; after digging into why I wasn't getting any spark I realized my ignition module was not getting any power. After testing the module and realizing it was good, I just re-wired the module to the battery with a toggle switch and same with the starter. So with that being said, now that I've got the bike home I'm trying to figure out where the issues lies in the system. All of the lights and functions work on the hand controls except for the Run/off/start switches, also If I leave a turn signal on, or have either the front or rear brake lever pressed while turning the ignition key off...the turn signal will stay on and blink fast, or if it was just the brake the brake lights will stay on after I turn the ignition key off. All of the fuses/relays are in order and I've found no broken/chaffed wires anywhere in the wires leading up to the downtube or in the hand controls themselves. Any clues on what the heck is going on? Thanks for any suggestions.

I had the same issue with my PDM, Dave had me run a hard wire from the F5 module on the PDM to the ignition. But that will cancel out your kill switch.
I finally had to replace my HCI to fix the problem.

I also have a faulty HCI with my PDM kit. Ignition module would kick out every time I pressed the start button. I had to add 658 ohm and 60 ohm resister with a led light to the start relay to get it to work.

Thanks for the information, I was able to get the harness out through the back bone and never saw a break in a wire or a place where it was grounded. PDM lasted me about 500 miles, irritating since they're out of business now and I have to eat it. Looks like the KSW EHC RIP kit for me
