I concur. I had one (PDM), it was a POS from day one. The new systems are 100x better.
I didn't know they were out of business. That's good to know. It did take me about 10 hours of cutting, soldering and checking each connection prior to moving on to the next. I believe I must have done a decent job because I've had my Wire Plus for years. There certainly are better options from an installation standpoint. Reliability is mostly a case by case basis. Anything electronic can fail so if you experience poor performance, I can understand why it may be labeled as garbage. Especially, if frustration is involved. I wouldn't call my Wire Plus garbage but then again since writing this, it may just start acting up and I'll be upset and maybe eat my words and call it garbage. Or, I might just fix what fails.Wires plus is garbage, they are also out of business. PM me and I will send you the info you need.
No offence intended Hew, I just remember the sight of a ball of wires with the PDM, WP is very similar appearance wise to the PDM, so I should have said that it looks like garbage...in my opinionI didn't know they were out of business. Musta taken a lot of patience...No problem. I'm never offended anyway.
I was able to wire my WP up so it looked very clean.![]()
Yep, I was drinking beers along the way so I had to check everything 3 times.

Amen to the better options...now I don't punch something when I remove a side coverI installed the wire plus in my 07 Bulldog and it's still running out in Montana. I'm sure glad we have better options today.
Yes the wire plus was a nightmare for me to install. small wires and glasses don't mix well with sweat rolling off your forehead![]()
Do you have a full diagram of this I need to see what's to the left. Any help you can give me would be appreciated
Good shit Doug!I had one, drove me batty every time I pulled a side cover off to see that mess of wires..Now I'm very happy, nice clean install with great reliability..
