Purchased a PDM for my 05 Mastiff almost got it installed when I realized there was no plugin (red, yellow, blue) for the coil to get power to my cylinders ! I've checked and checked again even if I would have hooked it up wrong I looked and there is no plugin that matches. Got to call the the fabricator back I missed him today I know he's not going to believe me but I'll take phone pics for him if he wants lol. got to have the dog running before it gets warm in the spring !

I saved that section of the old harness. It went through the backbone like the rest of the old harness if you are right I wonder why the new pdm harness doesn't include that section too. Anyways will call the fabricator today for clarification but you might be right.

I believe your coil should plug directly into the ignition module, not the PDM...

This is correct. Its a separate lead that runs down through the backbone to the ignition.

The three wire to the coil coming from the ignition is not part of the PDM nor it's harness. Was also separate from the old Master Harness on the EHC (at least on my 2005 Mastiff).

If you removed it and it is still good, just run it back (from the connector on the ignition down the backbone to the coil), if you damaged it, you can install a new one by getting good wires and new connectors.

Hopefully you can get it installed again with out too much hassle and quickly get on the road. Let us know how you make out.

I called and talked to David the PDM fabricator and you guys are correct I need to reuse the old harness and yes it is in good condition. Don't recall reading that in the instructions I assumed the entire harness in the backbone was replaced but not so. BTW Chris and David were very helpful and said if I needed further help just call .

i dont think it was in the instructions...took me and my son awhile to figure it out also...
Well not written in the instruction per say but is on the schematic (unless it changed) it does show it going straight from ignition to the coil and not part of the master harness. Still will admit, it could be confusing somewhat and maybe would not hurt if it was written to advise or flag not to remove that part.

The good thing for Srodden is that he can easily fix it and others that have not done the switch over and decide to later, may read this and learn from others boo boo, which is one of the great things about this site.
