Well figured I would try this out. Had my hand control apart already so figured why not.
Video quality sucks and you unfortunately have to hear me talk, but hopefully this will help someone from just assuming it's a PCB Switch and then spending the money and still having the same problem. Typing up a how-to might take a little longer and now people like visuals. Lot's of folks seem to think it's the PCB Boards and it could very well be some wiring rubbed thin somewhere with the age of these bikes now.
This quick test will help you determine if the board is the issue or if it's in the wiring somewhere. Now if it's in the wiring then you will be hunting it down as it could be in the hand control wiring, under the tank/backbone, battery tray or somewhere close to the part in question.
Hopefully this will save someone from just guessing at the problem and not being able to track it down first.
