I don't know about a small chick but a small calf would probably do.

If I recall right, the rear passenger pegs are an option that needs to be purchased seperately.

Yes you can ride with a rear passenger and many use the pillion pad for the occasionaly partner. Others that have to carry the extra load more often go for a two up seat. Make sure that you get the recall done (if appicable for replacment of the strut bolts).

My wife rides with me all of the time on my 05 Ridgeback. You need the pegs and the mustache bar that mounts behind the oil tank. My 05 wasnt part of the strut recall. I honestly feel my bike rides better with her on there. The bike seems more firmly planted.
