PASSENGER PEG Adapter...

Well.... today I took the wife for a ride.... 1st surprise.... WHO SAID THERE IS NO NEED for the passenger peg´s adapter when you install a V&H 2-2 on a K9? (I was told only the V&H 2-1 needed it!). WRONG!!!

I need one, I need about 1 inch more clearance (I guess I got the new system, the one that does not scratch the road on a hard right turn)

Sounds like you got a set for a different bike...Mastiff or Pitbull maybe.
Do they make an adapter to get the peg up higher.
Maybe consider different pegs

I will do a thourogh search here in the Forum... I do remember reading about it.

REgarding the pipes, I do remember them assuring me those pipes were the (higher/modified) model, so they do not scracth on the road on the tight right turns....

I know there is aan adapter for the ones who install the 2-1 pipes... I think that is what I need?

WSW is going to fabricate those adapters and make them available to us. :2thumbs:

In the mean time, if someone wants to get rid of a set, please let me know (my wife is very pissed off because she cannot ride with me ( )

I got the V&H and I didn't have clearance problems but I did put the adapters on anyways I was tight and I was worried since it was so close her heel would touch the hot pipe and I would be scraping her shoe shit off the bike every ride :down:

Which peg adapters are you talking about? I bought the pipes from Five Five but they landed right infront of my rear peg. I bought the offset from Kuryakan but they will not work. The Big Dog peg is wider then the Harley peg they are meant for so I couldn't put my passenger pegs back on.
