I remember more of that now and babe is mostly right but 2011 is when joe organized that huge ride with police escort all the way to eureka springs. It was handled with such military precision that it can’t ever be duplicated and I think that was the most dogs on a ride ever . I don’t have pics but we were stretched out miles long and filled the parking lot of the lunch stop. I think that smaller rides left the track center several years before that but I may be wrong And prob am. Can’t believe so many years have gone by that fast.

Well I am finally home. I was the last one out of the Farm this year.

I have to give a big shout out to Dave and Buffy as usual for such a great event. Seeing that it started in 2015 I don't feel so bad as I've been coming since 2017 (2015 I was moving from NJ to SC and was not organized and riding as much as I'd like) Don't ask about 2016 -- I don't recall.

Anyway, I must say that Dave and Buffy's is the absolute best F,C & B that I have ever stayed in. Now I know you all are saying to yourselves "Mike, what in the hell is an F, C & B?" Well it's very similar to a B & B but it's a Floor, Chair and Breakfast.

First night I layed on the floor to stretch and that was that, never moved till I got up and let Joey out in the morning.
Second night, I had heartbrun something fierce and could not lie down so I slept in the chair. Next night same thing.
Last night there and the heartburn is gone but I feel asleep in the shair watching TV -- woke up at 4 and after a trip to thebathroom decided I was not going mess up the bed for the 2hrs I was going back to sleep for so I stayed in the chair!

When I left we had a list of 46 people and based on the custom goodies I made we had 12 people not show up -- COWARDS -- what's a little weather to deal with to see Family and Friends.

I will make this till Dave stops holding it or I am physically unable to. I skipped a friends wedding to be there this year.

And if while you are at teh Farm, we now know from where you can order a Medium Rare Pizza!
Also discovered the year the BEST alfredo sauce I've ever had at Pastfina (on rte 264) headed towards the old Farm.

Words can not express the gratitude I feel, thank you everyone. Mike and Dave I am truly honored!!View attachment 119738
Liferider, when Dave originally reached out ot me to do a plaque for your brother I was honored to be asked to do this important piece and I can not tell you how happy it makes me that I was able to hit the mark and get you something to help remember Larry. My only regret is that I never got a chance to meet him.

Hey guys that went to The Party at the Farm this year- Catfish is missing a brown leather pipe bag with the initials MAS- the farm is the last place we remember having it and I think I have searched high & low around here and our RV. This is a very important item to Catfish- it was gift from our kids and has several items in it that the kids gave him as well. If anyone ended up with it will you please let me know so we can arrange to get it back. Thank you all so much!! happy Thanksgiving!! - Mrs Catfish

I wish you could find it as we’ve searched high and low around here and haven’t seen it either. I recon it’s in somebodies piles of goodies and it’ll show up when you least expect it. Case in point, Hmans ba helmet. It’s been floating around here for at least a year and when it finally appeared we put it up just so it wouldn’t get lost again. Well it ran off before the gathering and won the hide and go seek game that was set in motion to find it. I recon it got tired ,hungry ,bored , whatever and made a grand appearance in October and I put it up for Harry One more time. The rest of the story is,I’m gonna nail that sob to the wall whenever it shows back up again. Sorry Harry.

Looking forward to retirement
Old friend of mine Carlana Stone. I have known her and been great friends all my life. She was hit by a drunk driver and broke her spine. Nothing has stopped her since that night in 1985. She is a pilot with special controls on her plane, she rides a Harley trike with an automatic transmission.she uses rubber bands on her boots to keep her feet on the side boards. She has a rack on the back for her wheel chair. She inspires so many people and is a huge believer that nothing is impossible! IMG_3365.png

Ok, It's the new year and its time to start planning trips.
Can we confirm what week we are doing this this year.
There was some mention about a possible shift to accomodate a recent birth to prevent a conflict.
For those of us coming a distance, planning ahead and being able to pay in advance and distribute the $$ helps so as soon as we can settle on a date matters to some of us greatly.

thanks in advance.

Will it be
Sept 21 - sept 24
or
Sept 28 - Oct 1

Dave -- Please step up and confirm the date.
Is there a website with pictures of this gathering. I'm near Kingsport tn. It doesn't sound to far from me.
