Parking

It is recommended that handlebars be turned to the left to put additional weight on the sidestand for stability. This way there is less chance of the bike being knocked over should somebody or a vehicle bump it. In addition, it is recommended that motorcycles be parked in first gear for the same reason. Backing into a parking spot is recommended for safety purposes as it is much easier to pull out into traffic rather than risk backing out. In some states (such as MN) it is the law that motorcycles be backed into parking spots.

Parking space??? When I park it always rite up front ,some times on the side walk, hell I have seen the day that others move so I could park. The places I go like Bikes and have special parking for them. As for what way the front tire points to the left

It's so the bike stands up straighter, and they can get more in there. Our bikes sit ok with the bars turned to the right. My friend's no good piece of shit Bourget falls over if you turn the bars to the right. Awesome design Roger.
