I do it all the time. I prefer there to be a light pole or something there so no one cuts the corner and takes out the bike.

I always pull up on the sidewalk at any business I can. Wal-Mart , restaurants. Anywhere. If you are not in a fire lane or handicapped parking the police don't care around my area. In fact a officer stopped and compliminted me on the bike. I was on the sidewalk

Hell at nearly 50 years old with great insurance and driving record I don't even sit at red lights very long if there is no traffic.:reddevil:

I must be getting anti social in my older years, I don't even like to stop for gas any more.

Yeah after awhile I start dreading the gas stops too. Especially if I'm in a hurry to get somewhere or have things to do.
